In 1959, West & North Plant merged and renamed Alcoa Tenn Federal Credit Union.
In 1967, a milestone was achieved - ATFCU's first $10,000 loan. The loan was assumed to be a property loan.
In 1986, ATFCU celebrated its 50th Anniversary. At the time, Alcoa Tenn had 4,855 members and $36,405,143 in assets.
Alcoa Tenn Federal Credit Union celebrated its 75th Anniversary in 2011. ATFCU achieved another milestone, reaching $250 million in assets.
